PORT LIMITS/INFORMATION:

Depths - (salt density) is 1.023

Entrance to channel - 46.0 ft

Harbor channel - 44.0 ft

Turning basin – 43’00 ft  Middle turning basin 40.0 ft'

Maximum allowed draft – 40.00 FT

Under keel clearance - channel - 2.5 ft - alongside berths - 0.5 ft

All vessels up to 38' – May transit the channel at anytime

​Vessels 38'01" - 40' will be tide restricted and will require 3 tugs for every movement

 

BERTH LIMITS/INFORMATION:

North Cargo Pier 1 – Max. draft – 39’06

FEDERAL, STATE & LOCAL FILING REQUIREMENTS

96 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by USCG.

48 Hours - advance paperwork for foreign vessels and US flag arriving foreign to Customs and Border Patrol.

24 Hours (minimum) - Foreign cargo must submit a manifest to the Customs & Border Patrol AMS.

24 Hours - advance notice of arrival required by Port Authority via Harbor Master and Pilots.

 

Port Security - All persons doing ship’s business within Port Canaveral must have TWIC and a security pass from Port Canaveral Police Department prior to be allowed onto any terminal.  If you do not both, you will require to be escorted.  Vehicles must have permanent company markings to be allowed onto any terminal.

<span-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">Florida through mid week, then elongate into the western Atlantic

<span-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">with a trailing ridge axis across north Florida by late week. A

<span-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">weak cold front will move into the area Friday night, then stall

<span-size:9.0pt;font-family:"Courier New";color:black">and dissipate. A strong high pressure ridge well to the north of
