North Cargo Pier 1B – Max. draft – 36’00 - any draft of 36' or more will be considered a tide job and will be scheduled to begin an inbound transit approximately two hours prior to high water. max length for tankers at NCP 1B to be capped at 840’

A good benchmark to use is a BCM of 420’ - All above subject to HM approval on a case-by-case basis

North Cargo Pier 2 – Max. draft – 39’06 (Vessels over 610’ restricted to 37’06)

A vessel with a draft that does not exceed 38′ 00″ may transit the channels and basins at any time and stage of the tide. Vessels that have a draft in excess of 38″ 00″ are considered “tide jobs” and will be advised by the Harbormaster and Canaveral Pilots of the time of boarding with consideration given to the stage of the tide. These vessels are generally scheduled to begin an inbound transit two hours prior to high tide. A minimum under keel clearance of one meter is required during the transit of the channels and basins.

The front will be accompanied by scattered to numerous showers and storms. Strong to isolated severe storms are possible, especially from mid morning through the afternoon. High pressure will build south over the area behind the front and produce a period of north winds through mid week, generating poor to hazardous boating conditions, especially in the Gulf Stream.

A persistent long period northeast swell will produce hazardous conditions near inlets during the outgoing tide through mid morning.

.GULF STREAM HAZARDS...Southwest winds 15 to 20 knots, with winds around 20 knots north of Sebastian Inlet this morning. Seas building to 5 to 6 feet.
